My name is Niki and I am an Atlanta-based freelance designer.
Background
After graduating from Louisiana State University, I started my career working for a photographer, and then worked in prepress and printing. Because of this experience, I have a keen eye for art directing and organizing photo shoots and I know how to stretch a press sheet – and a budget. The following years in agencies helped me gain expertise in concept to completion strategic thinking, brand development, and integrated marketing.

As an art director and graphic designer, I have enjoyed helping a diverse range of clients – from high tech to higher ed – to promote, teach, invite, sell and get their message heard across the country.
Philosophy
I believe that different is a good thing. I believe in the power of the story – and in telling it visually in a way that brings it to life rather than designs it to death. I believe that good design needs guts and subtle, simplistic beauty.
